Chrissi Nappe

Certified Professional Coach, Certified Disaster Recovery Coach, Stephen Minister, Mother of four

After attending Arizona State University, I began my career in the travel industry and was able to travel to many destinations around the world. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about new cultures and seeing famous sights!

When my first child was born, I became a stay-at-home mom to my four children until they grew up. During that time, I enjoyed many volunteer opportunities such as organizing the annual 4th of July neighborhood parade for 200+ people, creating the Adult Education program in my church community, serving on the pastoral council at my parish, and volunteering in my children’s schools for many years. I also had the privilege of homeschooling my youngest child 1st grade – 5th grade.

When I’m able, I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and being on the water in the Colorado sunshine. Some of my other favorites are college football, live music, wine tastings, and of course, spending time with friends and family.

I have an extensive background in navigating family life with family members who struggle with mental illness. I have experience surviving, recovering, and resetting when life takes unexpected left turns - as I was divorced after 28 years of marriage. I have a soft spot and a warmth towards the elderly and I have enjoyed many care giving opportunities for this population.

My passion and my desire is to use my experience and training to come alongside others who are facing difficult challenges and help them plan for their best days ahead so they can be fully alive!

Modality:

When life doesn’t go as planned, and you need to recalibrate and possibly change direction, where do you start, how do you begin?

Mission:

Our mission is to serve our clients by helping them navigate through whatever struggle or upheaval they’re facing, provide emotional support along the way, promote mental and emotional well-being, and identify the necessary steps to move forward.

Process:

Typically, but not always, the process usually unfolds in the following way:

  1. Debrief

It’s important to face the tough questions like: Now what? Where do I go from here? What have I learned? What do I want my life to look like? What challenges am I facing? And so on. Exploring questions like these will help you recover, repair, and rebuild. Unlocking the answers to these questions will help you to move forward and prevent you from getting stuck.

  2. Rebuild

  3. Rise up

Mindfulness, introspection, and self-discovery will allow you to begin putting into practice what you’ve learned. Identifying goals for your next steps and addressing any difficulties or challenges that arise, will guide you towards a path of recovery and restoration.

Goal:

The goal of coaching is to meet you right where you’re at, walk alongside you, and support you in the journey of healing.

Session Structure:

Our coaching program consists of weekly one-on-one, 60-minute coaching sessions over Zoom where the specific needs and concerns of your situation will be addressed. One size does not fit all and your personal needs will dictate our best course and approach. You will be able to choose the length of time you will need to accomplish your goals – 3 months, 6 months, or one year.

Areas of focus:

Some common areas of focus may include but are not limited to:

Grief and loss
Self-care
Self-reflection
Rebuilding personal identity/self confidence
Co-parenting (if applicable)
Financial management
Setting future goals
Managing emotions/emotional healing
Boundaries
Communication skills
Relationship building and new opportunities
Support communities

Exercises:

Intakes, assessments, tools, and homework will be included in this process as they add much value in growth, mindfulness, and self-discovery. You will receive a client workbook to keep track of your materials. The workbook will also serve as a visual to remind you of where you started and how far you’ve come!

Client Involvement:

We require our clients to actively participate in their own growth. We ask that you keep the appointments you set out of respect for your coach’s time as they have set aside that time to best serve you. We understand life happens, so if your appointment needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, please give a 48-hour notice if possible. Your coach will honor that same time frame should they need to cancel or reschedule as well.

Core Principles and Values:

The coaching relationship is one of empathy, non-judgmental listening, confidentiality and empowerment. Ethical standards and professional boundaries will always be maintained. We employ best practices with every client we serve.

Referrals:

If your needs are greater than what the coaching relationship allows for, we have excellent referral partners who can help.
